The Blue Mountain and Reading ran a Christmas Shoppers Special from Temple,PA to Philadelphia on December 21, 1985. 4-6-2 425 powered the train to Norristown. I don't recall if passengers transferresd to Silverliners, or if the train went on to Market East with diesel power, but in either case, the 425 did not go past Norrristown. Here, after turning on the wye at Norristown, the 425 rolls across the bridge between Barbadoes Island and Bridgeport.
