Amtrak's eastbound Cardinal No. 50 passes the C&O depot in St. Albans on its early morning run toward Washington D.C. from Chicago. The train will make stops at Charleston, Montgomery, Thurmond, Prince, Hinton, Alderson, and White Sulphur springs before tunneling into Virginia at the summit of the Alleghanies.
