Remarks & Notes
Rio Grande No. 169, an 1883 Baldwin 4-6-0, is undergoing slow restoration inside the train pavilion at Cole Park in Alamosa. The tender is finished, and attention has turned to the locomotive itself. No. 169 has been a park display since April 1941 - nearly 74 years!
