Remarks & Notes
It's a mild and rainy afternoon as Amtrak's eastbound Southwest Chief departs Levy after doing a stop and proceed at the west end of the siding. The intermediates west of here at Wagon Mound were displaying an approach and a stop here. The conductor had to throw the switch to see if that would change the indication. This happens from time to time in spring switch territory when the facing point switch loses contact.
