In July 2014, due to a major derailment along the Clark Fork River, the MRL detoured several freights over Evaro Hill. While detours have happened in the past, this westbound unit coke train was surely a very rare event! The heavy train clawed at the 2,2% grade and curvature as it passed my location. A MRL 4 unit swing set can be seen helping mid-train.....
