It seems as if the shots you don't plan are the ones that turn out the best. I was on my way to go shoot an Ex BN unit in Gainesville, and as I made my way into Georgia I kept thinking to myself "Now how nice would it be to shoot the BN unit under this sky". It wasn't long, however, that couds came in and obscured the sky. After passing through Toccoa I came up on the Toccoa Wye where Hartwell Railway power is sometimes parked. So I began shooting the Ex CNW GP9 and then I noticed the clouds breaking. As they moved away from each other, these brilliant rays began to shoot out from them, making for the perfect photo opp!
