Crews from Hulcher and R.J. Corman help BNSF clean up a wreck site at Lakeside, Nebraska, on the Sand Hills Subdivision. The derailment happened on May 17, 2006, when an eastbound BNSF coal train led by No. 8814 ran an intermediate signal with a red aspect and plowed into the rear of another coal load, with obvious results. The trailing locomotive of the train, along with a rear DPU on the train hit, were also damaged, along with seven hoppers that also derailed and were destroyed. Both the trailing GE AC4400CW and GE ES44AC DPU of the other coal load are seen in the background.
