Got to reletter a locomotive for a new owner? Black electrical tape is the answer! SFGX 3090, seen here at Metro East Industries, Inc., in Alorton IL, is an SD40 that was rebuilt to SD40-2 standards. Built by GMD in April 1967 as Canadian Pacific 5558, it was later sold to GCFX as their 3090, later becoming CITX 3090 before going to fourth owner SFGX.
