Her Majesty has left the building. With Fire-up 611 crews carefully monitoring her every move, Norfolk & Western 611 eases out of a stall in the Bob Julian Roundhouse and onto the Spencer Turntable after a brief indoor photo session. This was a pretty rare opportunity for the gathered photographers, because this locomotive and tender combination is so lengthy, that it does not fit completely within the building. Were it not for this special photo shoot, the completed locomotive would ordinarily have remained outside for all servicing, and indeed that was the case for the rest of her time at Spencer.
