Remarks & Notes

Four of the ageing GE class 34 U26C's allocated to Millsite depot in Krugersdorp are working a container train to Mafikeng, working hard up the 1 in 40 grade out of the Magaliesburg valley. This location is known amongst local railfans as Perry's Point, named after the late Roger Perry who photographed many a garratt on this grade in steam days.
