BNSF Railway train Q-STOCHI6-12L (Guaranteed Service Intermodal; Stockton CA - Chicago IL) departs Barstow, in California's Mojave Desert, on June 13, 2015. The train is led by BNSF ES44C4 6772, ES44DC 7665 and ES44C4 7604 up front, and the rear Distributed Power Units (DPU) on the rear are BNSF ES44C4 6761 and Norfolk Southern ES44AC 8103 - The NS's Norfolk & Western "Heritage" unit. The desert landscape looks a bit different than where the N&W operated!
