A Green Mountain Railroad Alco-RS-1-powered mixed freight, operating for the National Railroad Historical Society convention, is seen making a run-by at East Wallingford, Vermont, with veteran ex-Rutland RS-1 #405 in charge of the mixed train. The train is enroute to Smithville from Rutland to service the Luzenac Talc plant and had NRHS attendees from aboard the trio of coaches on the rear end offloaded at various locations for photo run-bys.
