| NS 957 passes over the narrow overpass at Blue Ridge drive (Old HWY 29) just north of Gretna, VA. The wide open elevation and kudzu patch brought out several railfans who wanted to avoid the giant crowds downtown. It appeared most of the community had turned out to witness 611 come through, as tents and lawn chairs littered both sides of the tracks |
