| NS local T12 crosses the Clinch River at Clinton, TN on a fall afternoon after its short trip from Knoxville with high-hood SD40-2 #3232 leading. At the time of the photo (October 2014) this was one of the last former Southern SD40-2s still on the NS roster with its original high hood. A few weeks after this photo the engine was rebuilt at Altoona, PA with a new NS "Admiral" low nose cab and other upgrades. |
