In the final minutes of evening light, a southbound manifest is easing down to the south switch at South Bellingham in preparation for a meet with northbound Amtrak Cascades #516. In the distance, several crags in the coastal mountains northeast of Vancouver, BC, can be seen, nearly 50 miles away.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
