Lincoln Sand & Gravel Co. #44

This engine was built in 1940 by the Davenport Locomotive Co for Morrell Meatpacking. It was one of only 7 44 toners of this style. It was donated to the Monticello Railway Museum in 1975 and ran until the early 1990's.

From a hint of "Bee" (NKP 765), colorful "Bees" (KCS), "Bees" w/ "attitude", to "Bees" that "sting" your eyes, in their own way they have "Bee" on display! Equipment that "Buzzes" with Yellow & Black colors! ("Bees" can still "Bee" entering this "hive"!)
