| The remains of the cab from a former EMD SD90MAC-H2 built for Union Pacific are seen resting on the ground these days instead of pulling a heavy trains as intended. Although the locomotive model would not last very long, it did provide many featured that would be incorporated into future EMD models. One example is the cab seen here with the rectangular window arrangement that provided better visibility than previous models. This design would become the new standard look for future EMD six axle locomotives. |
