| It's not too often one can capture an entire freight train in one shot, but that is the case here at the famous Big Ten Curve along the former Rio Grande mainline through the Rockies. This elaborate engineered design was created to help trains climb up the mountain without having to endure grades over 2%. The result we see today allows for an entire train to be seen as it snakes its way up the Rockies. |
