Remarks & Notes

One of Santa Fe’s GP60M locomotives is found in the San Diego yard this morning. This unit, which is part of a class of 63 locomotives all ordered by the Santa Fe, is still wearing the original road number and the only paint scheme that was ever assigned to it during the Santa Fe days. The only traces of BNSF found on this unit are the small fading reporting marks underneath the cab number on the side.
