Remarks & Notes

A small portion of the 240,000 ton annual output of steel pipe produced by the Berg Steel Pipe mill in Panama City rolls north on unit train K565. The pipe is longitudinal seam welded and has been coated with a Fusion Bonded Epoxy Coating on the outside as well as having a liquid epoxy resin sprayed on the inside which give it the colorful look. The large diameter pipe is stacked 4 to 6 pipes per car based on the flatcar’s load limit of either 70 or 100 tons.
