What's left of Montana Rail Link SD45-2 No. 301 is lifted off of its front truck for the last time. The contract worker is cutting the last appendage (a speed recorder cable) before the crane lifts the cab clear of the truck, turns it 180 degrees and sets it down on the ground. The workers next job is to cut out the heavy coupler pocket. This will bring the weight of what's left of the 301 down, enabling it to be placed on a flatbed truck for the trip to a recycling yard.
