| On May 1st 2015, history was made. For the first time in over 20 years, Southern Railroad Mikado No. 4501 rode the high iron out on the main line. Here we see 4501 starting back up from a brief inspection stop at the "Bootleggers" control point. Only a few moments later and the engineer had the ole girl snaking through the valley at a brisk 40mph. |
