Valley girl. Looking more like a crude oil or unit ethanol train in this shot, the West Local train T69 cruises through the small community of Concord. T69 is just like a quote from Forest Gump - "You never know what you're gonna get". Power can be anything from a couple of 40 year old Geeps, to some of the newest, high horsepower, six axle, AC units on the roster. With train sizes anywhere from just a couple dozen cars, to as many as 80+. Today's however, featured NS 8104 - The Lehigh Valley heritage unit. This unit has to be the cleanest of the heritage unit fleet I have ever seen. Somebody at NS is sure taking care of her.
