Remarks & Notes
This photo was taken about as close to the Bonanza Plant as you can be and not attract attention from plant personnel. The morning train on the Deseret Power Railway has finished unloading and is beginning to accelerate away from the unloading loop. I am sitting on a sand dune which is the only spot that gets me up to track level. The location lets me shoot the train with the coal pile and transfer equipment in the background. The train will now make a 35 mile trip back to the Deserado loadout in Colorado, load the train again and leave it for the swing shift crew to return it to the power plant once again.
