| An empty ore train rolls along in the nice evening light bound for the United Taconite Mine at Fairlane. 3 SD40's make good time as they pass MP 50 on the Missabe Sub, about 40 miles north of Proctor. CN keeps all this old school power around Proctor and Two Harbors for ore train service due to the secondary air system piped thru these units to use on the mountain grades on the Iron Range. |
