| When one considers the huge amount of American type steam locomotives that once worked the rails of this country it is kind of sad how few survived. They mostly reached retirement age at a time when railroad preservation wasn't yet on people's minds as it is today. One that survives is this locomotive on display at the Tennessee Valley Railroad Museum Grand Junction location. |
