Remarks & Notes
A new frog is lifted in place using a Union Pacific crane manufactured by Little Giant at Mounds, Utah, on May 11, 2006. A large group of maintenance-of-way personnel gathered to replace a worn out frog on the west mainline switch to the siding as quickly as possible without interfering with rail traffic too much. Having the right equipment like this Little Giant goes a long way to getting the job done.

Pictures of things often unseen in the world of railroading. Interesting equipment, operations, and people that help the railroad go around.
