Remarks & Notes

A hot sultry day finds NW GP35 1314 along with a GP9 and GP30 getting a roll on an intermodal train leaving the greater Chicago area through Hammond, IN. The milepost says we are 504 miles west of Buffalo, NY, and back in these days it was quite a spider web of trackage trying to get out of Chicago going east. Quite a different look to track, trains and signals compared to 2015.
