Cutting over a new signal system can take a considerable amount of time. Starting around 7 am, and now with the daylight fading, the newly turned on signals at CP-MILL just outside of Detroit, MI illuminate in contrast to the evening sky. Testing continues, however, in order to ensure proper operation for trains throughout its serviceable life.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
