This winter and early spring the New England Central Railroad - along with partners Seaview Transportation, Providence & Worcester Railroad, Vermont Rail System, Canadian National and Canadian Pacific Railway - has been busy moving loaded autoracks from Davisville, Rhode Island to various destinations across Canada - destinations reaching to the west coast. At 02:30 hrs on April 8, NECR train 323 with NECR SD40-2 2716 leading SD40T-2 3317 and GP38 3850 is seen seen crossing the White River at West Hartford, Vermont, with a headpin string of 21 autoracks.
