View from on high in the magnificent Columbia River Gorge, a BNSF Oil train heads west near Lyle, WA rolling through Tunnel 10. In the background the causeway this train is traversing has on the right hand side the free flowing waters of the mighty Columbia River and on the left side the confined waters of Chamberlain Lake. Many before me have braved the incredible heights this view provides but it is nonetheless breathtaking and a great place to spend an afternoon watching trains. However, I was kept rather uneasy by a couple buzzards circling overhead waiting for me to stumble and lose my footing.
