Remarks & Notes
It's a beautiful spring evening as temps hover in the mid-70s and local train P91 has stopped with its lead locomotive underneath the rising moon during the blue hour. The engineer has jumped out to close the derail and re-line the mainline switch so traffic can flow through the "Glorified Yard Limits" of Gainesville. It's rare for four-axles to be in this town whatsoever, but two GP38-3s are on this train, and a GP40-2 is about 8 cars up and two tracks over.

A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
