Crossing the Ohio River via the OC Bridge, a westbound intermodal is about to transfer to the Fort Wayne line. In the background is the Brunot Island Combined Cycle Power Plant owned by NRG Energy.
In the early 1900's to the right of the bridge, where the plant is now, was a one mile dirt oval race track. In 1905, an AAA Championship Car Season race hosted here was won by Louis Chevrolet. Chevrolet finished the season as runner-up driving a Fiat 90.
