A View of the Past into the Present. While it is across the tracks from its original location, AC Tower still stands as a piece of history as a part of the now dying art of tower operations. The tower operators' desk still looks just as it was in the past, but the outside world has changed a bit. The NS Sandusky District is as busy as ever, as evidenced by 194 meeting its counterpart 195 outside the historic structure. While the circuits to the rails have been cut, the operator board and levers are in pristine condition and operational, giving a look back into the operations of yesteryear. It can almost feel like you took a trip back in time.
