If a locomotive could enjoy the weather
Instead of polishing the rails in a frigid Big Sky Country winter, Montana Rail Link EMD SD40-2XR No. 262 soaks up the California sunshine as part of a DPU set on an eastbound BNSF freight climbing Tehachapi Pass at Caliente on March 11, 2005. MRL 262 seems to have it easy on this particular winter day, but this locomotive was screaming going up the grade! |
