It's getting late in the Juniata River Valley as the great ball in the sky begins to descend towards the beckoning horizon. By now the rays have turned to gold, a window of time that only lasts for so long before the mountainsides claim the day and dusk begins to take the night. The rails of the former Pennsylvania Railroad's famed Middle Division glow like the hot iron from which they were forged some years ago, anxiously awaiting the next wave of tonnage to guide through the Keystone state on it's way from Point A to Point B. And in these last 10 minutes, Norfolk Southern high-priority COFC job 20Q-21 was happy to oblige, easing through JACKS Interlocking on a 25MPH speed restriction with plenty of time to catch a few rays of the evening glint at mile 191 on the Pittsburgh Line before continuing around the bend towards Harrisburg and eventually it's terminus of Morrisville, 207 miles to the east.
