| You'll never see a Manifest Train east of the diamond in Schneider, IN, except for when this happens. This is coal territory and for the occasional local. This boy was originally headed south (to turn west) on the Egyptian at Schneider when an eastbound (to turn north on the Egyptian) was in the area at the same time. Dispatch forced this manifest to take the coal route to the east and sit and wait for the EB. In the end, this manifest had to shove back up 5 miles to Schneider in order to eventually take the NW WYE to Momence and beyond. |
