| A 2400 horsepower EMD SD24 has been serviced and awaits an assignment at Provo Yard on March 5, 1977. The UP rostered 34 'A' units with cabs and 45 'B' cabless booster units, built between 1958 and 1960. By 1985 the 'A' units were retired and by 1979 the 'B' units were off the roster. |
