Remarks & Notes
"Take a left on Pierre Ave..."

Earlier in the day this particular section on the NY&GL branch was covered with pallets from the adjacent business which was unaware that a train would be coming down that line later in the day. With quite the crowd in attendance to document this move, EL 3372 the last surviving U34CH left its home in Garfield after sitting there for over 10 years on October 29, 2014. The unit is seen "leading" down Monroe Street as it bears a left onto Pierre Street to connect with ME 18 which is just down the line. Unfortunately this move was likely the last time this line will see any movement for the foreseeable future as the NY&GL (respective owner of the branch) has sat dormant for years. The move went off without any serious problems and EL 3372 safely arrived on URHS property later that day. With the help from donations, the URHS plans to have the U34CH fully restored to operable condition within the next few years.
