| I have been coming to Southern Iowa and Northern Missouri since I was a boy to watch Santa Fe/BNSF trains race across the Marceline Sub. In 2013/2014 things changed as they always do with the railroad. Signal upgrades for PTC replaced alot of the Santa Fe era signals between Ft. Madison and Kansas City. Here in the middle of the night in late 2013 all that tell the tale of the history that once was is an empty shell waiting for the final day. |
