A late delivery by Canadian Pacific Railway pushed a normally nocturnal 82-car ethanol train into a daylight run on Vermont Rail System's Clarendon & Pitsford Mainline between Whitehall, New York and Rutland, Vermont on March 6. The loaded ethanol train is rolling past the Vermont Railway's Northern Subdivision at Center Rutland, Vermont, with GMTX SD60 9000 leading VTR GP40-3 312, GMRC GP40 304, CLP GP40-2 306, CLP GP38 203, VTR GP40-2 307, GMTX GP38-2 2208, and VTR (Washington County RR paint) 202.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
