Former N&W Class "A" #1218 makes easy work of an excursion train through Delaplane, Virginia on a late spring day on a round trip to Front Royal on the Norfolk Southern "B-Line" originating in Alexandria, VA. This was my first and only trip behind the 'Mercedes of Steam,' and she was impressive!
