My 1,000th photograph!
Here we see an eclectic group of OmniTrax engines found at the old Great Western Sugar Beet Factory in Loveland, Colorado, including OMLX 4327 (Ex Southern Pacific and Northwest Pacific SD9), OMLX 2959 (Ex Southern Pacific and Utah Railway SD35), OMLX 2506 (Ex Southern Pacific and Hudson Bay Railway GP20), OMLX 2232 (Ex Great Western Railway and Central Kansas Railway GP7) and OMLX 1200 (ex SP SW1200). The Great Western Railway is a shortline carrier based in Loveland, Colorado at the old Great Western Sugar Beet Factory, and serves a variety of locations along the Front Range, running freight to Greeley, Longmont, Fort Collins, Windsor and Johnstown.
Crazy pool power consists, colorful gatherings of locomotives at a diesel service area, or a mixture of colorful locomotives in storage lines. A minimum of four different paint schemes required.
Not
just heritage schemes, not just commemorative schemes - this album is devoted to some of the world's most interesting paint schemes, past or present.
