With the throttle notched all the way up, southbound loaded coal drag CNROL9 23 claws its way toward the summit of Logan Hill and out of the Powder River Basin on BNSF's Orin Subdivision with 100+ carloads of Wyoming's finest resource. This train originated north of here at the Peabody Energy owned North Antelope Rochelle Mine, which is the second largest coal mine in the United States, and is destined for a power plant near Oologah, Oklahoma. The sight of a quad-tracked mainline out in the middle of nowhere is quite an impressive sight.
