Remarks & Notes

DMIR 305, formerly SD18 no. 188, now an SD-M, idles at the Proctor, MN diesel shop near a water plug once used to fill the likes of Missabe Yellowstones. The rebuild gave the then 36 year old SD18 new life, but it's doubtful water will ever flow from that spout again. DMIR 305 would be 55 this year, still quite a bit younger than me!
