Amtrak Northeast Regional train 174, pulled by HHP-8 651, passes through Bowie, Maryland, as it heads from Washington DC to Boston MA on August 25th, 2005. These twin-cab electric locomotives, manufactured by a Bombardier Transportation and Alstom, were not as reliable as hoped for, and the last HHP-8 was retired on November 7, 2014.
