| The Watertown Local is well into the climb away from the Minnesota border as they cross South Dakota state highway 20 between Stockholm and South Shore. The terrain may look relatively flat out here, but we've climbed nearly 1,000 feet since Benson. The thin line at the horizon is Minnesota, some 20 miles distant. |
