Remarks & Notes
In the last glowing rays of the day the fresh orange paint of ICG 7738, a Paducah built GP8, glows extra bright. 7738 transformed over the past two years from a rag tag painted donated unit to a shiny example of Ky built motive power. No small task for an all volunteer organization with no indoor facilities, and having to keep the engine operational at all time to power museum excursion while also getting painted a bit at a time. This year will see her finished up with fresh paint on the running gear as well.
