Easing down the Cumberland Plateau, CSX Q582-23 has control of the train as you can hear the high pitch whining noise of the dynamic brakes echoing off the mountain. The train will continue north through Cowan, TN (M.P. J-87.0 S. Cowan) than will diverge on to the main 1 track on the east-side of the "soon to be old Cowan helper yard." The daily run manifest will continue till it have to stop at Tullahoma, TN to meet its counterpart train CSX Q583-24, and high priority CSX Q029-23 before getting the signal to go north on its long adventure to Nashville on the CSX Chattanooga Sub.
