PRR 7002 is a Pennsylvania Railroad E7s 4-4-2 Atlantic steam locomotive. It is originally 8063 and was renumbered 7002 when the original was inadvertently scrapped. In 1905, the official 7002 set an unofficial world steam speed record of 127.1 MPH. 7002 was steamed up and used by the Strasburg Railroad in the 1980's. It ran in three amazing excursions in the 1980's between Philadelphia and Harrisburg double headed with 4-4-0 PRR 1223. On those trips they hit track speed of 65 MPH.
